About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to learn to love better, ie to LIVE better. :)))

ABOUT ME

a 29-year-old teacher of many things, learner of even more, including flamenco and travel. :)))

PHILOSOPHY

to teach and learn along the way. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i love meeting and learning from people of different cultures and letting them teach me about how we all have more in common than what actually separate us (eg language or culture, at first glance).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i love travelling and i love hosting, what i call 'armchair travelling', since when i receive people i feel that i'm 'traveling' without actually leaving home: i get to learn about their cultures at my own place. :)))

Interests

languages, travel, cultures, flamenco, history, psychology, sports, ...

  • culture
  • festivals
  • flamenco
  • traveling
  • sports
  • teaching
  • history

Music, Movies, and Books

currently history (XX century, WWII, USSR, etc), but arts, cultures, languages, etc are all important in my life too.

some films that i loved for example were:
-das leben der anderen
-dieta mediterranea
-revolutionary road
-the beautiful mind
-die untergang, etc

some books that have had a profound influence on my life are for example
-anything by Alice miller
-currently osho
-currently a lot of works on the 'enneagram' (system of personality types)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

meeting an aboriginal man playing the digiridoo in the blue mountains near sydney and saying 'szevasz laci' (--in hungarian, roughly translates as 'hi leslie') , and other things, as he had been to the famous hungarian sziget festival a few years before as a performing guest and had apparently been taught this phrase (and some swear ones of course) by a hungarian band's lead singer... a small world or what?!? :)))

Teach, Learn, Share

teach hungarian!:)) (good luck you guys. :)))
