I am curious and I like to learn and discover through travel experiences. I am a very easy-going person who likes to meet new people. My friends sometimes nickname me "Go with the FLO", and I think that suits me quite well! I just try to enjoy every moment and trust the flow!

Because it's a great way to meet people! Also, even with the top travel guide in your backpack, I still think that local people are the best representatives of the spirit of a country. This aspect is significant for me when I am travelling, and couchsurfing is an awesome way to fulfill my expectations!

I both like to do physically challenging activities such as long-distance hiking and competitive badminton, and quiet activities such as reading, taking walks and playing music.

I like to travel because it gets me out of my comfort zone and I like to be challenged!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I spent summers 2013-2017 on Bylot Island, in the Canadian High Arctic. My purpose was to study Arctic foxes as a field assistant at the beginning, then as a Master's student thereafter. Each of these field campaigns lasted for 3 months, during which I lived in my tent with no phone or electricity, under temperatures sometimes reaching -20 degrees Celsius!
