ABOUT ME

I seem to have become a lifelong student since I left the military. I am working towards getting a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT), though I still have about 5 years to go it seems before I finish it.

I have started doing Triathlons and 10k's this year as I've always wanted to do them, but didn't have the opportunities to do so. I have also begun fixing and working on my bicycles which has become a fun hobby for me now. I also like playing chess and other strategy games.

PHILOSOPHY

Do those things in life that you love to do and don't stop doing them. It will only make you unhappy if you do. I learned this the hard way.

Live simple, life becomes much less complicated.

The older I get, the less I like most technology.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My brother has been CouchSurfing for quite some time now and I have had the opportunity to meet with most of the couchsurfers and it has been really interesting. I've met a couple people from France as well as people just traveling through town or moving to other locations. It has been great being able to go hike and show some of the countryside to people that aren't from around here.

I used to read a large amount of fantasy books, but I have started to become interested in more historical accounts and novels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jumping out of planes and walking through places like Heidelberger Schloss and Schloss Neuschwanstein.
