Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Bluegrass, folk, alternative rock, reggae, jazz & big band. Really, I love anything with good lyrics.

Don't watch TV. Once in a while will sit down for an interesting movie or documentary but would rather be active or playing board games.

Books:
Women Who Run with the Wolves
The Kin of Ata are Waiting for You
Ishmael & My Ishmael
The Art & Zen of Happiness
Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy
Stalking the Wild Asparagus
The Alchemist
Market Gardener
Original Wisdom

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spontaneously met some couchsurfers in Arizona and spent 4 days backpacking through the Grand Canyon with them. I had never backpacked before, nor had the proper equipment. However the encouragement of my new friends, and stunning beauty of the canyon, made this insane challenge one of my fondest memories.
