About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To experience everything I can

ABOUT ME

Hello all :)
I'm Dana, I work at a wolf conservation center and in nucleoside research. I'm very easy going and love meeting new people!

PHILOSOPHY

Well...I don't know. That's not a great philosophy, I'm aware, but I would like to think that I have many philosophies that I live by. Happiness would be the general theme though!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted and surfed with people through CS, I've also been to quite a few CS events...I'm all about couchsurfing :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been a member of CS for a few years now. I first joined when I was planning a roadtrip through the south and out west from Philadelphia. I stayed with 3 different CSers on that trip and had an incredible time! Since then I have hosted a few people in Philly, gone to London and stayed with great CSers there, and plan on hosting more this summer in Cape Cod!

Interests

I have a lot, but some of them include
snowboarding, skiing, surfing, hiking, camping, fishing, bonfires, board games, the ocean, the mountains, kayaking, sailing, marine biology, science in general.

Music: Iron & Wine, Grateful Dead, Blitzen Trapper, The Head an the Heart, Tom Waits
Books: Slaughterhouse Five, No Country for Old Men, The Mysterious Stranger, A Clockwork Orange, Naked Lunch

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During a road trip a few years ago (while in Colorado) my friend flossed her teeth with bark. That was pretty incredible.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach...hmm, well I really love sharing my favorite biology fun facts!
As for learn, everything. I love learning and it's the main reason I think this community is so amazing. Everyone has something to teach and I love hearing all of it!

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Saint Lucia, United Kingdom, Virgin Islands, British
