ABOUT ME

I am a woman of many hats. I have only had my degree and career the past 11 years. Prior to being a chemist I waited tables, drove limos, sewed for professional theator, cleaned hotel rooms, pumped gasoline, kept books,... I am the mother of two adult children and a teenage step-daughter and recently a grandmother. I love to dance, garden, hike, learn, read, cook, observe people, explore places and life.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is too short to live it in front of a TV. Go out and see it for yourself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

New to CS. I have a sister who had a couch and entertained many a surfer. She recommended that I check out the site. I ran the idea past my daughter who has met many a surfer on her couch via a roommate. My daughter agreed that I would like the site. Looking forward to participating more.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not surfed but I have stayed on a couch or two in my life. The best times have always been around the dinner table sharing great food and stories then parting to explore during the day and gain new stories to share.
