Hello there!
My name is Flurin.
I'm an artist from Switzerland. I do mostly digital paintings, (my website is fluboss.com).
Besides art, my other passion is travelling and learning! I want to see as much of the world as possible. But I'm convinced that it is not worth visiting a place, if you don't get to know local people, their culture, food, history and perspectives. I draw and paint a lot while travelling and always carry my iPad and sketchbook with me.

I'm open-minded, very tolerant and flexible.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Because it's the easiest way to get to know the local people of a place you've never been to and don't know anyone from. As couchsurfing is about cultural exchange you learn about a lot of different ideas and perspectives. Couchsurfing in general helps therefore in connecting the world and to help us understand each other better.

- I've worked on a farm in the Swiss Alps and helped building a water trough for the cows :)

- hiking the "Via Dinarica" from Slovenia to Albania

- hiking the "Lycian Way" in Turkey

I like to talk about cultures, politics, religion, traveling experiences and different perspectives in general.
Additionally I could give some drawing/painting-tipps, because I do quite a lot of that ;) I usely always provide my host with a personal drawing as a return for letting me sleep at their place and inviting me.
And I could teach you some german.
