Flussbad Berlin is a sustainable, forward-looking urban development project that seeks to transform the Spree Canal located between Fischerinsel and Bode Museum into a clean and accessible body of water for the general public to use. Our guided walking tours give an overview about the challenges the project is handling today and the impact it might have on our society.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are on Couchsurfing because we love to show people the heart of our city and it's history out of a different, progressive, social and ecological and cultural perspective. We are offering two possibilities for you to learn more about us:

1. Flussbad-Garden

We love to host you in our Flussbad-Garden by day, where we provide affordable warmed and cooled drinks, as well as our "Brotzeit" ( a typical german snack). We are open from 10am to 8pm every day in the week and on weekends. We also offering our sanitation facilities and tap water.

Feel free to bring your own food and beverages and to read, relax or work there. Last but not least, there's a 24/7 opened exhibition about our urban devevelopement project.

We are on Couchsurfing motivated by our interest to support open-minded, non-commercial, sustainable and respectful tourism. We would love to connect people from all over the world with the people living in Berlin and to encourage them to think about sustainable development in our cities today.

2. Guided walking Tours

Two or three times per year we host english guided tours/walking tours through our project-area.
