ABOUT ME

Alegría. That's my word.
I talk a lot, I like to make new friends, I enjoy sharing my time with people that speak different languages, come from different countries, and are different from me. Everyone has something to share and teach. That's why I love people so much! They teach me something new every day.
I'm argentinean but I feel like a "ciudadana del mundo" - a citizen of the world. I feel comfortable almost everywhere and I enjoy getting to know other places. I try to be at least once a year in a place that I've never been to before.
I studied international relations and now I’m working remotely for an Indian company, as well as pursuing some personal entrepreneurial projects related to improving brain function, art and unforgettable experiences.
Oh and dancing is my passion. I can't help moving when I listen to music! I like almost every type of music and I love going to shows, concerts and festivals. And my weekly Danza de Venus class is sacred! I actually collaborate with this dance/theater school.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in a world made better by travel and travel made richer by connection.

I think that everything happens for a reason, that's why I don't like regrets and I don't complain about what I have. I'm just grateful for everything that makes me happy: my family and friends, the nature, the sun.

I also think the world has too much to offer and we should discover our passion, what makes us happy, and pursue that!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I travel and host whenever I can. I'm currently living with flatmates and I don't have space to host unless one of them is out of town, but I like to organize events and connect to like minded people.
I can connect you with almost anything you want to do in Mallorca. Seriously, almost anything.
I've met so, so many people since I live here. Great people, super diverse. Me and my group of friends frequently organize experiences to show others what it feels like to enjoy nature living in such a wonderful island.
I can reccommend places to visit, restaurants, go out, listen to live music, etc etc etc. Just ask! I love to help and make others happy. Sharing is caring. Love multiplies endlessly :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first time doing couchsurfing was in Brazil in 2013 and it was awesome!
After that I've stayed at 3 different places in the United Stated and I met some amazing people. Couchsurfing has given me so many friends and beautiful memories!
Then I traveled to Mexico and I also met lovely people thanks to Couchsurfing. It's just lovely.
I think I will never stop doing it 😁

Interests

I love languages, music, DANCING, food, partys, beaches, good books and movies.
I like to cook! typical argentinean and some paraguayan food are my specialities.
I like cocktails and beer, and since I've been living in Colorado, now I'm a marijuana full legalization supporter.
I'm really curious so I'll probably be interested in almost everything people show me 😊

Music, Movies, and Books

I like almost all types of movies, but I enjoy horror movies (actually I suffer but in the end it's fun), and comedies. I'm not sure about which is my favourite movie, but one of the movies I love is 3 idiots. The same with books. I like thrillers, but I also started reading some latin american authors, and they're great too!
I absolutely love music. I listen to every type of music. From electronic, jazz and funk to symphonic metal, indie and rock, and I love to dance so I also listen to tango, salsa, bachata, brasilian music, chachachá, merengue, etc. I love to share music with people! Show me good music I don't know and you'll be my friend.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was an exchange student in Germany in 2011-2012, that was my first great experience abroad.
I worked for the 16-17 winter season in Aspen, Colorado. I learned how to ski and I met Kygo, my favorite DJ 😊

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach how to cook some typical argentinean dishes, Spanish, and basic tango, salsa and bachata steps.
I also love to make people laugh so I can share some funny stories and I love listening to stories as well.
