ABOUT ME

why is this the hardest question in the world? i am comfortable and confident in my own dorky self but can't ever seem to put the words out there for you to hear it. generally I am quiet, which scares some people, so beware my friends beware :) joking aside, i am very interested in meeting you, i love the diversity of this world and couchsurfing helps keep humans human.

I guess I took a break for a while. the paragraph below is from a few years ago.

boulder group, snowboarding group and a few others that i participate in,, there is this weird snowball effect, where you start and slowly but surely it gets bigger and bigger, and the opportunities start knocking, so i am going with the flow, surfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am still transient, but have had the same address for almost a year now.
recently i have been transient, i have had 6 addresses in the last year so i finally got a po box, now i can go wherever and whenever, but it also means i don't really host as i never know where i am going to be.... i like to meet couchsurfers, often its the best part of a long weekend exploring some new place, i am so grateful to all that have couches, i promise i will have one of my own someday!!!

Interests

i like to sit and be amazed at the beauty of the world, i take a lot of photographs, the ones in my cs profile just skim the barrel, snowboarding, driving-especially on the winding roads of colorado, my sis lives in steamboat so i often drive just to drive there...

Music, Movies, and Books

WEEN, les claypool and anybody he plays with including especially skerik and mike dillon, wilco, flaming lips, devendra banhart, mark twain, i like buddhism, i like reading about the year 0 and how the next two centuries have overwhelmingly influenced life today, and i guess i like all historical non-fiction... or fiction if that includes goddesses and gods,, interesting how the lines get blurry. i have never really been into the politics in the us, but i read a book by hunter s. thompson about the '92 presidential campaign and absolutely loved it, i 'spose it was his style as opposed to content... i like jazz and funky funky but i am a radio listener also so i can sing along, i like rock n roll n hip hop, i attempt break dancing but i usually just end up sore in strange places,,, well i do not watch a whole lot of movies but i think i finally remember that i do like... oh i forget his name, he did royal tenebaums, darjeeling limited, etc i like those movies, wonderful, colorful,,, i am sure that there is more

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

the sunrise tends to be amazing, everyday... i now live out in the country outside of boulder colorado. colorado in general is absolutely gorgeous in all seasons,, now that i am a little further away i can see stars that i have never seen before, and at the same time see the lights of 3 surrounding 'cities'

when was the last time you used a disposable camera?? i realize this day and age everyone has a digital camera, myself included,,, but i recommend carrying around a disposable every once in a while, since you cannot review and edit the photos to perfection to just sit on your camera, when you finally get that film back from your local photo-shop, its like opening a time capsule of memories...try it
