ABOUT ME

I'm a fun, open and honest adventurer. I've just returned from a 7 month trip around the world which involved various couchsurfing shenanigans around the US. Now I'd like to give back to the community and continue to connect with similar people and learn new things about myself and the world at large.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life trying to find things that make me happy and passionate. The world is an amazing place but it can also be very lonely if you don't get out there and make the effort to connect with other people and the beautiful natural surroundings.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I usually attend CS events or meet locals CS'ers for drinks, sharing worldly knowledge and lot's of fun and adventure.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have done some couchsurfing mainly in the US from sleeping in a trailor on a 2000ft mountain and finding the car 2 feet deep in snow the following morning to staying in a Manhatten apartment opposite the Empire State Building.

Centres d'intérêt

I am interested in talking to new people and hearing their views on practically any subject. I am pretty much open to anything from hiking, photography, dancing, cycling, sailing, skiing, snorkelling, sinking a few beers, eating any type of cuisine, movies, theatre, art and love to try something a bit different.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Perhaps my biggest love is music. I can't play an instrument and have a terrible karaoke voice but I absolutely love listening to music in pretty much any form from Rock, Electronica, House, Hip-Hop to Blues, Jazz, Classical and Opera.
I love movies both old and new. Usually I like a good story and script where the plot twists and turns but sometimes I can watch a mind-numbing action flick or comedy.
I don't read too many books unless I'm travelling. Currently reading "Eat,Love,Pray" whose author's experiences are something I can relate too.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Many many things... in the past few months I stood inches from a lava flow on an active volcano in Guatemala. I hiked the inca trail and stood in awe at Machu Picchu. I attempted to climb mountains in Yosemite where i was up to my neck in soft powder snow.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I wouldn't say I'm the most knowledgable or most travelled person but I can converse and give an opinion on most topics. My specialist field is IT and internet but I don't find many people interested in that :P
