About Me

CURRENT MISSION
I currently want to use my time traveling to see how deeply I can be in tune with myself...letting my body move and stretch how it wants to, when it wants to, eating when I feel hungry, staying in a place as long as I feel drawn and not moving on based on an agenda that has to be completed in a certain amount of time, sleeping when I'm tired, connecting with people when I feel the impulse...basically finding my inner-rhythm more fully than I have before. I also want to treat people like we are already friends...increasing my capacity to connect with more types of personalities, and not perpetuate what I perceive as this unspoken societal belief that people we don't know are scary. I never again want to find myself living in a place where I don't know or talk to my neighbors (which seems to be the norm these days where I currently live).
ABOUT ME

DESIRE
I deeply desire to work with people who are really curious about exploring their edges, their emotions, how their bodies and the way they show up in the world is affected by their thoughts and emotions and perceptions and fears. I want to work with people who are willing to do something different, who are willing to slow down and deeply notice and feel what it is like to be in this world and be seen or not be seen. I'm interested in relationship/s; I always have been...my conversations tend to always veer toward what it's like relating and interacting with people, ourselves, our ideas etc...I have an experience of being in this world...many experiences, and the way I enjoy being with people the most is when we slow down, when there is a very palpable feeling of interconnectedness...I want to experience this more and more; I want to help others experience more and more until it becomes the norm to feel super ecstatically connected...and it feels weird to feel rigid and in a completely mental space...where it is weird to feel drained, or to feel so separate.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm traveling with my partner, James, through Mexico, Central and South America; I would like to utilize couch surfing (as well as workaway, woofing, hostels, camping) to meet new people, keep costs low, and travel in a way that's exciting to me!

Cold showers are really good for you! The cold decreases inflammation in your body, and sends blood to your organs, which helps them function better.
