ABOUT ME
The first thing you need to know is that I'm a little obsessed with human beings. I like learning about how people interact with each other, why they do what they do, how they make meaning and impart it upon Things. I like hearing about these Things, why these Things are important to you, how you deal with and process your everyday life with them in it. With different cultures you have these extraordinary, wild collisions, sometimes-forced-sometimes-organic multitudes of life experience. Keeps it interesting.
I like quiet cigarette breaks by the side of the road just as much as the raucous party inside.
I can write cursive backwards.
I like anthropology more than politics.
I like collecting music, especially ones without lyrics.
I might be quiet when I first meet you, but I'll probably warm up after a bit. Give me some time to unfurl!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sleeping on top of a giant rock formation and seeing the sun rise in Wadi Rum, Jordan. Hitchhiking. Backpacking in Syria and Lebanon. The citadel in Tripoli, the Ummayyad Mosque in Damascus, the souks in Aleppo. Hiking in Sai Kung, when you don't feel like you're in Hong Kong anymore. Feeling totally sparked and alive in Istanbul, full glasses of raki. Wandering around the steppes in Mongolia.
