ABOUT ME

For the past five years I left my old home in the UK , got a job in Brunei and got caught up with life. Couch surfing was a dream that slipped between the cushions of commitment and demands. Recently I settled and realised my old love of traveling and meeting people so I am reaching out again. The current photo is my old self and there is a new one of me ( no idea how to update my photo).

I am currently living in Brunei and I want people to see my magical kingdom.

One of my dream is to see the world.And if I can stay over a night, or have a nice cup of tea with a friendly local who can share their own way of life in the place they love, then that's all really want.

To see more of the world beyond the computer and television screens- and to live and breath through the stories my friends all over the world tells me.

That human touch in making the world a smaller place by having friends everywhere , that is beautiful.

PHILOSOPHY

One must be as radiant as the sun to live this life . Being under the brightness of the rainbow is a true blessing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am not able to host a place to stay. I live with my parents and it's not my say who gets to come into the hone.

But I have a car and would love to take you around all the local spots. To see Brunei history, beautiful places and forests. And meet lovely locals too.

And I can recommend places and tours and taxi services if I m not in Brunei. Basically I have local connections to make sure your stay in Brunei is comfortable, magical and safe.

Best of all put smiles in the faces of my children~ well my students really, but I think of them as my sons and daughters

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach them about the world I come from- I am from Southeast Asia, and come from the heart of Borneo. I can speak a few languages and dialects.

But most of all I want to want to share my life with people. And I am of mixed heritage, Peranakan Chinese growing up with Western and Eastern and Southeast Asian values. And I am excited to learn and share views and stories with people from other magical wonderful lands
