ABOUT ME

Hm, I hate self-descriptions, why bore people with descriptions that aren't very helpful? Meeting people and talking to them is way better. For all those who aren't satisfied with that:
Loves: soccer, books, movies, karaoke-machines, beer-testing, theater, comedy, meeting people
Dislikes: MMORPGs, sitting at home, leggins

PHILOSOPHY

I can always see the positive side of things, so I'm probably an optimist at heart. Live and let live, think twice before criticizing other people. I try to do the things I like in a spontaneous manner, most of the time I succeed. In the end, each new experience is a positive surprise. And if I got a nice cold beer in addition to that...then I'm happy ;)

Interests

From the study-point-of-view: languages, culture, language acquisition, and the whole psychology and neurobiology behind that.

Outside the studies: Watching/Playing soccer, partying, travelling, that kind of stuff...

Music: Everything that goes straight to the legs, but especially Ska.

Books: Pratchett - The god of footnotes. Kundera - the master of melancholy. Extreme dislike: James Joyce. Starting reading all his books and always quit around page 20. Maybe someday someone can teach me how to read him ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

Hm, soccer trivia, card games, beer tasting for beginners, karaoke lessons, how to loose at pool-billiard. I could also (and would love to) share knowledge about the parts of cognitive science and the funny little theories involved. I'm very open to learn myself, especially how to order a beer in different languages (atm I can do that in about 7-8).
