I'm an openminded traveller from Germany and I simply just love to discover different cultures, mindsets, lifestyles, places and get to know new people from all over the world.
Honestly travelling and admiring the lovely planet with all its beauty is one of the best things you can definitely do!

To give you just a short overview, I'm a passionated hobby pilot (just skygliding - the most intensive way of flying).
I've travelled quite a lot and my longest journey has taken me for one year to South East Asia, New Zealand and Australia. I've also had the great opportunity to went to High School in South Africa. I've worked and lived a few months in Madrid and in Eindhoven in the Netherlands.

After those working experiences abroad, I'm now back in my hometown Heilbronn. Let's see what kind of travelling adventure comes up next...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the idea of meeting new people in foreign countries, talk to each other about travel and life experiences, cooking together, get to know other lifestyles,... Honestly, there are really many reasons why this community is so fabulous.

Interests

I'm interested in playing the clarinet and saxophone. I also like to do sports like mountainbiking and to go skiing. On top of that i love to do sky gliding. I have a pilot's licence for skygliders. Besides sports and music I just love to hang out with friends, laughing, cooking, drinking a tasty beer or wine and to enjoy life :-)
Not to forget: Staying outside in the nature. There are two best ways of travelling: Couchsurfing and Camping!

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to almost every type of music... For example I enjoy the music of Nirvana, Queen, Amy Winehouse, Max Herre and Freundeskreis, Mumford & Sons, Gentleman and I also love the electronic stuff for partying .... Also classical music can be really relaxing. To be honest I'm quite into listening to classical music and I love going to operas or the theater sometimes.

Some of my most loved movies are Forrest Gump, The Dead Poets Society, Lord of the Rings and Despicable Me. (The minions are just adorable!)

I love literature, so I also like to read old dramas and tragedies written by Shakespeare, Schiller, Goethe,... Besides this freaky old stuff I like to read historical books e.g. written by Ken Follet. Currently I'm giving my best in reading all the books of game of thrones.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Honestly getting up happily every day is an amazing thing.
Beside this challenge every day there are a few more amazing things for me. As I've a pilot's license every take-off is an amazing experience. I have also done a Skydive and already travelled quite a lot. Couchsurfing is every time a nice experience.
Visiting a wedding in India was one of the most incredible cultural experience I've had.
But there are definetly a lot more amazing things to talk about but I don't want to spoiler right now about all the exciting experiences :)
