CURRENT MISSION
I live in a sweet little village (Saxapahaw) west of the "triangle" in North Carolina. We can walk to town where there is a music venue, brewery, pub, general store, butcher shop, a river, and a lot of good people. We recently built a house and also have a baby, so life is a bit wild. My wife is an academic, and in general, a far more lovely person than me.

My wife is a huge gardener and with the butcher shop, I'm pretty interested in creating food. We both love to travel (obviously) but it's been a bit for both of us. We live in a little village that has drawn us in because the community here is so sweet. I'd say in general, we do well with a small town vibe.

We have a <1 year old, so I'm not quite as cavalier about creating a hostel in my home as I once was. But in general, I would like to get back to hosting. As for visiting others, likely meeting up for a drink/coffee would be great. I travel almost exclusively on stranger's recommendations (or wandering) and feel like having a contact in a new place is always a wonderful start.
