Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Still haven't had a proper couchsurfing experience, although I did live abroad as an exchange student with a family in Canada, and an Australian girl lived with us in Brazil for a while. Looking forward to couchsurf a bit.

Interests

All kinds of stuff! Just a regular uni student guy. Travelling, camping, some photography, good beer. Playing Rugby is really nice although I haven't been doing that much.
As a traveler, I like to see the touristic sites, but also to go to local coffee shops and local hangouts, to get the feel of the place.

Music, Movies, and Books

Rock'n'roll! But everything around it as well: Blues, soul, some metal. I can't deny my Brazilian roots, so some samba and bossa nova must be there as well.
Love movies, good and bad, and talking about them.
Favorite book authors include (but are not restricted to) Tolkien, Gaiman, Cornwell, Pratchett. But right now I'm trying to go through different genres... Any suggestions?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Camping with 45000 people in the last two World Scout Jamborees, in UK 2007 and Sweden 2011 were pretty awesome moments. Working with and meeting people from all corners of the world just made me that more interested in traveling more and more.
