Why I’m on Couchsurfing

How I Participate in Couchsurfing

While checking online to see who was going to the Rock Werchter Festival in Belgium, I came across a few Couchsurfing groups. I posted on one of the walls asking who else was going — and ended up meeting some amazing people through it.

My Couchsurfing Experience

One night, around 2 a.m., I got a message while I was in Amsterdam. I met a group of Couchsurfers at Dam Square. It was a warm summer night with a light rain — we waited there, met under the rain, and then headed off to enjoy the night together.
We spent the entire night and even the morning talking, walking, and sharing great conversations. It turned into one of those spontaneous experiences you don’t forget.

Interests

Music is still a big part of my life, especially rock — bands like Muse and Radiohead, with a soft spot for British artists in general. I enjoy festivals and, every now and then, dancing just to feel alive.

These days, I value good conversations, traveling with purpose, and meeting people I can genuinely connect with. I like discovering new places, sharing experiences, and building friendships that actually mean something.
