CURRENT MISSION

Traveling vegan. So much of my life is constantly changing, but aren't we all. Ultimate goal is to live in NYC as a raw vegan food truck vendor and become a performing arts school major. I've wanted to get into the acting business for a long time. I volunteer at my local playhouse and I did my first short play not long ago and I loved it. I love hiking and recently I have had fire light up in me that needs the outdoors. So I'm looking forward to all kinds of hikes, from day hikes and over night backpacking, simple over night camping, to one day doing great trails like the JMT the PCT and the Appalachian trail. Got to start small though.

ABOUT ME

Most raw vegan. I love the energy fresh whole foods give me. I have been to Peru twice not including the time I was born there. Lived in Miami most of my life, joined the US military and have traveled with them a lot. Not including the travels within the states. I have visited Crete, Greece. Catania, Sicily. Shannon, Ireland. Misawa, Tokyo, and Okinawa, Japan. Marshal islands and Honolulu. Quite a lot now that I think of it and still more to come. I have done the hike in Crete called the Samariá Gorge hike. It was the most beautiful thing I have seen to date. I hope to do many more hikes in the other places I travel. Like hiking up Mount Fuji.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't have a phrase, or a one liner to bunch up my philosophy. I live and do according to every situation, I am adaptable, if something happens, it couldn't have happened any other way. The way everything is, the way everything was, and the way everything will be is always unique. I live to notice the moment and the spaces in between.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to participate by providing a place to stay if you visit the town of Oak Harbor in Whidbey Island. Especially but not limited to travelers doing the PCT or just the PNW trail. If I am home when you come through please stop by!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couch surfing experience was an absolute wonder, I couldn't believe how open the Host was. It was only to stay the night, but it was a great place to crash for the night after a drive around Seattle. Then was Justin in Portland. Near Share it Square it was an absolute delight. He presented us with everything portland has to offer, he had many surfers stay at his home at any given moment, and he had a bed room and a king size bed! I don't have a king size bed to offer, but if I can offer a fraction of what was offered to me when I surfed, I believe this community is destined for greatness.

Intereses

Hiking. Spending time with friends and making new friends. Eating a lot of fruit and veggies as well as trying new vegan foods. I had Ethiopian food recently while in Honolulu. It was amazing. Reading is also a big interest. I have come to love reading a lot. Too bad I missed many books when I was younger.

Música, películas y libros

My movie and music taste never stays the same and I love it like that. When it comes to books though, I love Science fiction. I read fiction on occasion but not as much. I am broadening my spectrum now.

Algo increíble que he hecho

The Samariá Gorge hike. A 16 km hike starting at 1250 meters down to sea level it was the most beautiful sites. From the glacier peaks at the start to the beautiful bit chilly beach at the bottom. The ferry ride back to town was spectacular as well.

I learned that having a child like mentality makes a wonder of a world. I love my lifestyle and wish to share it with others by traveling together with old and new friends. I would love to learn more about the great outdoors. I would love to share the wonderful experience of a hike with anyone I meet.
