ABOUT ME

Some years ago I ended a master of fine arts in the Netherlands. there I focused on performance art and happenings. I have worked with questions on spirituality, energy, surviving, the natural world, sexuality, plant kingdom, contemporary culture, internet and love.

Recently I have stayed at Tamera (healing biotope) in Portugal. and studied permaculture and natural building in Guatemala, next to being a student of Intuitive Spiritual Psychotherapy and Reiki healing. But all of my interest come together in social/community/art projects that I organize in the Netherlands and abroad.

I love food, cooking, reading, writing, dancing, nature, yoga, meditation, hosting events, talking, silence, hiking, swimming, culture and magic!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I frequently host friends and friends of friends in my house in Amsterdam. Unfortunatelly I don't own this house and share it, so my hosting capacity is a bit limited for the moment.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

in 2012 I hitchhiked across Iceland and met a lot of people with cars ( ! ) and also a lot of people who told me nice stories about iceland, and took me into their houses and gave me fish. this was amazing :)

in 2012 I have spend some nights in Oslo in a place where a lot of art people live, and that was really good to be able to have a place to cook and talk.

In 2012 I surfed with a friend at Juri's place (in Kassel), he was very sweet and great to hang out with ! it was also good again to be able to have a sort of base from out to explore.

in 2011 I spend one night at Kaare's place in Copenhagen, got really good city tours/adventures from Naia, and was able to spend 3 nights at Simon's place together with a friend from Holland. ! so grateful !

in 2011 I spend 5 days in Berlin with a person I have met there. This was amazing; to see the city, to have a clean house and be able to have nice breakfasts at home before venturing into the city again. Also went to see sites, exhibitions, and parties with the great host !

in 2008 I spend several days with Martha Bird in Madrid; this was amazing. I loved the relaxed feeling of having a safe place, and made me enjoy the city and freedom more.

Interesses

my interests are art, nature, biology, philosophy, dance, shamanism, cooking, drawing and reading, studying, helping people, bathing, fantasizing about living together with animals, and jungle plants, getting a boat or some old airplane to live in. Basically I want to go to treasure island and make roller skates out of coconut shells.
