Hello!!
my name is Anna, I am Italian and I am currently studying Foreign Languages and Literatures at the University of Trieste.
I come from Sicily, the very south of the Italian peninsula.

I describe myself as a sincere and curious person.
I am interested in deep conversations and I like talking with someone who doesn't see things the same way as I do.
At the age of 18 I left home to do volunteering in Romania for 8 months.
I have lived in Spain, Morocco and Germany after that experience.

I am in Couchsurfing because I trust people.
I am sick of living in a world where they want you to buy, buy and buy more.
So, I don't buy things.
I make gifts giving what I already have.

I don't like money.

In this specific period of the year, unfortunately, I cannot host you because I live in a student campus and it's not allowed for me to have guests.
But for sure after we meet, to give you the favor back, if you want to come to Sicily you'll find a home at my place.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As you may imagine, I LOVE traveling everywhere: near, far, further, the furthest.

I firstly got to know Couchsurfing when I was in Romania.
My friends and I decided to take the adventure of going to Serbia by hitchhiking and try this fantastic way of getting new friends all over the world.
After that, I have been using it for all of my trips.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love jazz, pop, Italian songs, Giovanni Allevi, Einaudi, Yiruma, Queen, Coldplay.

Drama and historical books/movies:
The bridges of Madison County, Forrest Gump, Castaway, the Green Mile, The Italian job, The Shawshank redemption,
Pearl harbour, Pretty woman, Untouchables, The Notebook.
Tom Hanks and Maryl Streep are my favourite actors.
