ABOUT ME

I am italian, born in Roma but grown up in the northern part of Italy (in Bergamo) and I mix two very different italian lifestyles tipical of these italian cities.

From when I was young I practiced different sports like basket, soccer, swimming, skiing, snowboarding, beach volley and everytime that I discover or I have the opportunity to try something new I am realy happy... also if it's never as simple as it seems to be!! Thanks to my parents i understood respect and passion for nature and also if i live in the principal industrialized area of Italy I love to spend my time in a park, maybe with some friends, a ball, a frisbee or whatever I can find for playing.

I studied economics and during the period of university I casually started to travel thanks to the presence of an airport in Bergamo...I became popular between my friends because of many promotions that i have finded in internet allowing us to travel for only 1 euro or some cents...

In the same period i take part to the campaign for the election of mayor in my city creating an association of young active citizens interested in politics. From this experience I discover to be a passionate politician and i spent some years collaborating with the democratic party. After some times I became responsible in my city but one year later I resigned because of lack of confidence in some choices taken by collaborators and now I am not more active in politics.

I am courious about new technologies and actually I am working as strategy and business consultant in a multinational company of IT. Because of my work sometimes I am experiencing a challenging, modern and frenetic lifestyle but at the same time i would like to rediscover a more natural rhythm of life.
Traveling represents a way to rediscover different lifestyles, cultures, and approach to life that i can undestand from locals or other travellers.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I discovered couchsurfing some years ago while I was surfing the web and I immediately decided that I had to try this experience!
It's one of the most incredible opportunity that people have in the modern society and it's simply based on curiosity, trust and internet.
Untill now I have only met locals but never hosted or been hosted...I hope the moment will arrive ;)

Interests

I am obviously interested in travelling and discover new places and cultures but I would also share my knowledge about places where i live. I am not very able with other languages but i will do my best for improve :)
I love sports and I am always ready for trying something new. I am also curious about new technologies but at the same time I would like to rediscover nature and natural rithms of life.
I also like to taste a good wine or beer with other people and discover differents foods from the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have no a preferred genre of music and films or some genres that i don't like at all. If you like a singer, a band or a film... why don't you suggest it to me? ;) It would be a pleasure receive a suggestion or also spend some time together listening good music or watching a film!
P.S. I don't spend a lot of time reading books but anyone is perfect
