Overview
About Me
I am a German/Polish girl finishing her master's in comparative literature. Afterwards I'd love to work in the cultural sector, but you never truly know where live will take you!
I've been born in Poland, but have lived all my life in Germany. The combination is really interesting to me and set me up to be very open about what "home" means to me personally. All of my relatives live in Poland, my school was in a small German city and when I moved out to go to university I had my own place for the first time. Each of these places are in a sense "home" to me, so when I tell you about home, I may just be speaking of three different places at once (but I usually specify which home I'm talking about in any given moment). I believe that this sort of almost involuntary global live, that a lot of our generation is living right now, also adds an exciting new perspective to how you travel - every place you go to, can become a "home" that is filled with yourself, both your emotions and the relationships you form. Couchsurfing is an exciting community that exemplifies this sort of global bonding.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I try not to be just a passing guest in someone's home, but help with the daily necessities (may it be that we cook our meals together or even do pick up toilet paper on the way back from a trip) and I'm excited to start my journey - truly.
Interests
In my freetime I love to go hiking and take photographs. I try to stay active as much as I can, but I am also someone who really likes stories in general, so you may catch me reading or watching films for days on end.

Music, Movies, and Books
If you ask me about what books/films I like, I'd say they need to be nicely written, with a coherent story and a good insight into the psychology of their characters.
The books I truly, really deeply love on the other hand are those that awake compassion in me and drive me to see the world with a fresh pair of eyes, a sort of re-awakened innocence and desire to spread kindness. Maybe we can talk about books that have achieved that?
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
