I am a person of mixed race who never lived in any country long enough to grow roots. People keep trying to place me, but well, good luck with that! ...Or let's just skip the small talk and dive straight into more meaningful conversations!

I'm balancing a career as a DEI educator and working on a Ph.D. in Linguistics.

I like people, good stories, food (vegan since 2004), singing, climbing, and asking difficult questions. I am a total geek, though I like to think I am a pretty cool one ;)

I am the lead singer in a rock cover band, and if you play an instrument, I would love to jam!
