About Me

I'm an open minded young man who likes to see new things and try new experiences. I love logic and rational thought, as can be seen by my choice of degree. I am told by some people that I think too much, but I really love taking in information, processing everything I see around me in my head and remembering small details.
In the future I'm going to be an entrepreneur, but I really have no idea what field I will work in.
Scotland has been my home for almost half of my life, but I was born and spent my childhood in Italy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When traveling there are times in which I like to relax and wonder around and do my own thing; at these times I stay in hostels. I'm on Couchsurfing because now and again I also enjoy being put in a situation in which I'm forced to immerse myself completely in the local culture and to spend my time with new friends, and there is no better platform for this. In the near future, when I'll be living in my own flat/house, I would also like to host people myself. At the moment this is not possible.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to listen to all types of music, from loud and energetic heavy metal to more melodic opera, and everything in between. I sometimes indulge myself with overly popular chart songs on repeat.
I like movies which require a certain level of thought from the watcher, with interesting characters, good dialogue and intertwining plot lines. (Think anything from Tarantino)
I am not really an avid reader, but when I fall in love with a particular book or a series there is no turning back.
For the past year I've been heavily invested in everything ASOIAF/Game of Thrones and could probably teach a course about the world Martin created; but do not talk to me about fan theories and whatnot because they ruin everything!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Organized a 1 month long trip to Asia for a big group of people.
(Almost) Everyone loved it :)
During this trip I also managed to climb the tallest mountain in Bali wearing a pair of broken slippery Converse... quite proud about that.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you a few chords on the guitar or help you with the pronunciation of many Italian words. I'm up for learning new card games or board games. I would love to learn traditional songs.

What I Can Share with Hosts

The pleasure of my company (lol) and the few skills I have. I could make a plate of homemade pasta, help you with a maths problem, or we can sing a few songs together.
Mainly I'm up for doing whatever the host organizes, whether that is going to see the sights around the house, or going to climb a mountain, or going partying with your friends, or staying home to watch a movie.
