To learn about it, cook and share and teach others how to reconnect with our most basic need and pleasure.

ABOUT ME

I am a Returned Peace Corps volunteer, I have been an ESL teacher. But cooking is what makes me feel like myself and food is what I love.

I also feel a very strong urge to teach people about what real food is and what it's not, how to cook and eat cheaply but well, and how to recreate their kitchen's to be a temple and playground for it.

I have very low expenses and a little money from the VA so I am in the joyful position of offering full-time cooking, shopping, food education and kitchen re-energizing in exchange for a small room and food of course.

So, if you'd like to meet me and have me shop and cook and talk about food with you for a few days or weeks, let's talk!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I open myself to whatever the environment has to offer, and connect with people on it. I learn and teach what I can. I write about it to those who don't have the opportunity to see the world first hand.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted and been hosted a couple times. More often I stay with people I've met through other ways. I also have been a personal cook for extended periods, making lovely delicious and healthy meals in exchange for rooms.

Interests

Traveling, writing about those journeys. I love to cook and play around with spices and flavors. Shopping, pretty clothes, music, water. Color and the effect it has on our lives.

I am always happy to cook, and will read Tarot for anyone I stay with. Also happy to share about crystal and energy healing.

I would love to learn anything metaphysical that's positive and not dogmatic. Cooking, local cultural stuff. And generally open to new things.
