I grew up in the Pacific Northwest of the United States, and have since lived in Colorado and briefly in New Zealand. I'm currently on the road indefinitely with my partner Athena in a tiny school bus we converted to a tiny house on wheels.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started on Couchsurfing way back in 2007 when I was studying abroad in New Zealand. There I surfed and hosted, and continued hosting after I moved back to Denver.

I'm here to elevate travel beyond moving from place to place, and to make connections with new people and cultures.

Interests

I suppose the most common activity is walking - through cities, in the woods, up big hills. I've also been known to ski, rock climb and ride a bike. I've an interest in alternative living, participated in WWOOF in Washington state. I also enjoy repairing bicycles, and learning Spanish.

Athena is a yoga teacher and artist from New York, and shares a love for the outdoors and a life of compassion.
