My girlfriend (Slovak) and I (Canadian) are frequent travelers who love meeting interesting new people from around the world. We travel for fun, but are also often doing running events throughout Europe, or sometimes seeing bands we like or watching ice hockey games. We are open-minded, curious and animal-friendly.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Looking to meet new people and help others on their travels. I have been to nearly every place worth mentioning in central Europe (and many of the lesser-known places as well). I live in Braunschweig, and hope to help others discover this hidden gem of a German city. Also, when I travel, it might be nice to meet up with some locals sometimes and get to know something about their cities and countries.

Looking for hints on traveling to almost anywhere in Europe? Canada? Australia? I have a ton of dos and don'ts for you. Want to geek out over conversations on music or ice hockey? I can probably offer you more obscure facts than you'd ever realistically want.

Also, my girlfriend and I (we usually travel together) can throw together a pretty sweet vegan meal if you'd like to try one out :)
