About Me
Hey there!
I've been on this platform since 2015 when I started travelling and made a few friends along the way. I stopped travelling for a bit and I'm back at it again now.
The main reason is because I just lost my 15 year old family dog last month :( He was my best friend and a great companion. I'm really sad and I would like to travel to cope with the loss.
Did up a rough plan on my CS profile but in general, 10th to 31st May onwards will be in Vietnam and China, mostly by land. If I have time, I'd like to visit Taiwan too, so let's connect if we happen to cross paths!
I'll be travelling alone and happy to make new friends along the way as well :)
(P.S. Leaving my old profile write up below because I think it's cute. It's interesting how we can change so much in less than a decade hahaha)

[OLD PROFILE WRITE-UP]
Hi there!
I'm new to Couchsurfing but I've heard a lot of stories of how wonderful this community is. I want to make new friends from all over the world so I shall give this a shot..
Just a little info about me, I'm a little more outgoing by nature, extremely inquisitive and love to learn new things all the time. I've written a book on entrepreneurship back in 2013 and right now, I'm working on building my profession as a financial adviser here in Singapore.
The topic of entrepreneurship has always been my passion and besides learning more about it, I want to do something on the side as well. I'm currently studying books like"The 4-hour Work Week" and "The $100 Startup" just to start something of my own.
This way, I'll be free to roam while running my side hustle.. That will be AMAZING.
I'd love to meet you in person if I'll be travelling to your country and it'll be awesome if you'll be able to host me while I'm there.
Share with me more about your country's culture, way of life and everything else in between... I'm all ears ;)
Look forward to the amazing adventures that lie ahead and like they say, You Only Live Once so live life to the fullest and enjoy every moment! #YOLO
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love travelling, getting to make more friends and experiencing new culture. I hate the idea of being a tourist and I aspire to be a traveller. So what better way to fulfill this aspiration than to be part of this amazing community at couchsurfing? :)

I love reading non-fiction books. I also enjoy writing, running, swimming and if I have a bit of mind space, thinking. Since 2020, I've a newfound interest in Sociology so I'm honing my craft in this discipline right now. My other interest includes education, entrepreneurship, traveling, experiencing history, culture and learning new languages.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm a published author of 2 books on entrepreneurship :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share my book publishing journey, my knowledge on entrepreneurship and if you're into Sociology, we can have a good exchange of knowledge!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share with you about the amazing history and culture of Singapore.
I'm a 3rd generation Singaporean, born and bred on this tiny island city-state. Very much a heartlander so if you were to visit our sunny island, I'll probably take you around the country Singapore Style and try our best local cuisines. No fancy cars or exquisite fine-dining, living just like the locals do (and not like what you see in the movie "Crazy Rich Asians" hahaha)
Hope to meet you in person if you happen to be here!
