About Me

Hi, I'm an Australian traveling the world with my girlfriend. In November 2016 we decided to sell everything back home in Sydney and head off for an approximately 2 year around the world trip. It has been amazing so far.
As my profile appears, I am actually not new to couch surfing. Back in 2010 I lived in a share house for a few years with some mates. We hosted a bunch of couch surfers from all over the world and made some life long friends :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I loved the experience of having people couch surf with us and would now like to meet new people all over the world in the same way.
I have been to a lot of cities, national parks and sites all over the world but its meeting new people and having a good old chat that a really enjoy.

Interests

I love travel, haha probably goes without saying :-) I love meeting new people, experiencing new cultures and seeing and living different ways of life.
I am a massive fan of the great outdoors, nature makes the best sites!
I love going to sporting events overseas.
I love sitting back with a cold beer or a glass of red and having a chat.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: RHCP, Arctic Monkeys, Vampire Weekend, Chet Faker, The Cat Empire etc. I like most music and will give anything a listen.
Movies: I enjoy an epic story
Books: Don't tell mum I work on the oil rigs, she thinks im a piano player in a whore house (very funny, short read), Comoran Strike series, Girl on the Train etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Trekked the Himalayas in Nepal. Trekked for about 6-8 hrs a day for 23 days, completing Manaslu cct and also the Tsum Valley. This was such an amazing adventure through the freezing cold mountains. We crossed the Larke Pass at 5106m elevation. We got to spend time living and eating with the loacals and experiencing their way of life in the mountains as well as seeing the most amazing mountain scenery I have ever seen.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach people about life in Australia and share my experiences of travel so far. I am tryin to learn to speak Spanish and play the harmonica.
