I resigned from my careers in 2015 to visit permaculture and ecological sites through Central and South America. Grabbed a backpack and journeyed for one year.

Last winter I explored the Yucatan peninsula for 5 months, to include living in barrios of Cancun and Merida.

In fall 2019, I'm exploring the natural wonders of Ontario, and hopeful to make some new Canadian friends.

Lately, I've been collecting flutes and drums from around the world and tapping away at them... will you drum with me?

I love anything outdoorsy...hiking, skiing, winter camping, backpacking. Just rock climbed for the first time!

I served as a professional classical and jazz flutist for many years...but I also love folk, rock, singer-songwriter, meditative musics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Nature, gardens, plants and animals inspire me. I planted and nurtured a miniature food forest in my front yard at my last residence. Over 100 species interacting with each other. It was amazing to see what can happen when you make a happy habitat for all the creatures in your neighborhood!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm respectful and quiet, and can cook a thing or two. I'm experienced with child care, and enjoy helping out with a family. I have decent knowledge about whole food diets and organic gardening. If you have land, I could look at it and give you some ideas for a permaculture landscape design. Pura Vida.
