Overview
About Me
Easy going and curious human. I'm eternally drawn in many directions: fiction, architecture, journalism, design, organizing, and art.
I grew up in a suburb of LA in the US, spent most of my adult life in the small city in Washington State, and then the past few years I found myself in New York City and then Roskilde, Denmark. I also lived in DC and Sacramento recently.
I enjoy glimpsing into other people's lives and learning any "insider baseball" knowledge from any subculture, profession, or world.
Right now I'm an intern reporter in St. Paul.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to meet people, share, and travel in a more collaborative open way.
Interests
I'm a life long backpacker, newbie caver, and aspirational canyoneer. I'm also a lover of the urban landscape and it's secrets, and I hope to learn more about urban design and infrastructure. Basically, I like to explore and take my perspective into new places, the stranger the better.

Music, Movies, and Books
To much to list. Ask me, we can talk forever. I'll try and think of something succinct to put here sometime.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiked Mt. Whitney in a wedding dress, hiked the Pacific Crest Trail.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can help teach English language stuff - especially writing craft or editing - also news literacy, maybe a little philosophy of personal identity, and us history/ government. I want to learn history! I'd love to know about secret places, especially underground (and can share whatever I know).
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm game to be helpful in any reasonable way I can. Food, cooking help, help around the house, share good company, share some beer or wine. If we click it seems only natural for couchsurfing to be a two way street hosts to come stay with me wherever I am in the world.
