I was born and raised in Guangzhou, China. But my family was originally from Indonesia. At the age of 15, i have chosen to study in Vancouver, Canada. Now after five years abroad, I have decided to go on another journey again in both Finland and Germany.

I was fortunate to travel across Asia before I moved abroad. I have been to Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore. These travel experiences have really impressed me- how we are so culturally diversed. After I moved to Canada, I continue travelling Vancouver, Vancouver Island, Alberta, and other places around the east coasts. Of course, I have made my ways down to the United States. In recent years, I have been making my way to Europe (mostly in Germany) when I am on vacation.

My favourite thing to do on this planet is to do photography. I enjoy taking photos, especially Landscapes and in particular, coffee photos.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to make new experiences- as a traveller, I have been on many tour groups and stayed at hotels. Despite those are nice experiences, I would love to travel more like a local- do what they do in their daily lives, eat like a local and hang out like a local.
