About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see as much of our beautiful planet as I can. For the past few years I’ve been filled with such a longing to travel and experience new things, and now that I’ve graduated it finally feels like it’s within my grasp.
ABOUT ME
I am a recent graduate of UNC Chapel Hill where I received a B.A. in Environmental Studies. I spend most of my free time hiking around North Carolina (my goal is to hike every mile of every trail, big or small, in my home state). I’m not totally certain of what my next step(s) are, but I am excited to see what comes next.
PHILOSOPHY
Showing respect and love to all beings on this planet. Trying to observe and do more listening than I do speaking. Understanding as many viewpoints as possible to make myself a well-rounded person.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am very interested in meeting people as i travel. I think making friends along the way adds a lot of value to the experience of traveling that one does not get simply from staying in hotels and staying anonymous. I think getting a local view on a place; things to do there, great places to eat, somewhere off the beaten path, is so valuable and unfortunately underplayed in modern traveling.

Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I can teach Italian and give you drum/percussion lessons!
Learn: I am always interested in learning about the land I’m traveling on. It’s history and the best places to be in nature would be extremely appreciated.
Share: I am an aspiring Naturalist and can likely share some information about plants, geologic formations, or other natural history tidbits on your area (to an extent ;p I have not been everywhere yet).
What I Can Share with Hosts
I think I am a kind, capable person. I might not know everything, but I pride myself for my willingness to learn new things. I am more than willing to help out with little things around the house that need doing. Just thankful for a place to stay.
