About Me

CURRENT MISSION

soon to be a couch surfer

ABOUT ME

I'm 44 and somewhat nomadic. I guess working seasonally as a ranger probably did a lot to put me on that path. I work and pay my way but just can't seem to find that one job that I like enough or is stable enough to stay at. I do however always end up in pretty cool jobs like teaching music, working in parks, forests or deserts. I can't complain, I've seen sights and been to places that few people have and am grateful for it.

Even through I'm a percussionist and guitarist I'm a fairly quiet individual. I pride myself on treating people with respect and as my mom schooled me: Treat others as you would yourself...

I love animals, think kids are the real teachers, and can't wait to stop and smell some new roses.

I'm a musician. My project is on Reverbnation under HugMachine. I'm also a percussion teacher and a naturalist (the plant identifying kind).

I love traveling, meeting new people and seeing new places. My hobbies are snowboarding, mountain biking, reading, camping, hiking, watching movies, seeing bands, going to festival and staying environmentally active.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

8 Seasons working with the F.S. has shown me so many gorgeous places! I feel blessed :-) I have spent time in some amazing locations. Mt.St.Helens, Rainier, Tahoe, Mt.Baker....the Olympics. I've played many live shows and appreciate giving music back to the world.

I've toured the East Coast and West Coast towing a crosscut of an ancient Douglas Fir to promote saving ancient forests. I've spoke before hundreds of people. Life is amazing!
