Overview
About Me
I'm a student majoring in computer science, and this semester I'm studying abroad in Budapest!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I will not treat your place as a free bed. I've done a fair amount of traveling and although I absolutely love travel I've gotten jaded of the usual routine of checking off all the touristy attractions and snapping meaningless photos. What I find meaningful is meeting people and learning from different cultures.
Interests
Music (a lot of indie and electronic stuff, as well as classical), biking, food, amateur psychology and philosophy, Buddhist meditation, contemporary art, I've recently been getting a lot more interested in things I used to consider too "applied" like history and economics, and of course, traveling.

Music, Movies, and Books
As I mentioned before, I'm a huge music fan. I was classically trained as a pianist for 14 years of my life and have since branched out into enjoying jazz, indie, electronic, R&B, and the occasional trashy pop classic. Some more specific artists that I really appreciate: Frank Ocean, Flume, I Wear* Experiment, Banks, Beyoncé, Debussy, Chopin. Things with creative harmonies and a good beat.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Performing Mozart's Piano Concerto in D Minor

What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm not the best cook but I'm happy to subject my hosts to the few delicious dishes I can make. I love intellectually stimulating conversations and long walks. And of course, I would happily host you on my own couch in Budapest!
