ABOUT ME

It's Yuanqing(You can call me “Janus” if you cannot pronounce my name, I know it's pretty hard for some people to pronounce) here. I grew up in China, but now in the US for studying. I am in electrical engineering major.

I am easygoing and open to most things. Meeting new people and sharing stories is one of the most exciting moments during trips. Feel free to message me!

I love traveling but not just going sight-seeing. I would like to talk with local people, try some traditional foods, and to know some interesting story. I think people can learn pretty much from travel, travel is a lifestyle, is a way of growing up.

Uhmm...I like all kinds of food, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Mexican, American... To try some new food is one of my important tasks when visiting a new place. I don't smoke, alcohol either, but sometime may drink a little bit. I like sports and go to the gym regularly but just in order to keep in good health. Enjoy reading and movies. I love singing as well, I usually go to Karaoke when we have time.

What's more, I like learning new languages although I cannot speak many languages, but I will try and learn more ; ).

I meet a Russian girl during my trip along Yangtze River, she invited me to join Couchsurfing.

I like meeting new friends from all over the world, it is a amazing experience!

I like sports pretty much. I usually play tennis, squash or badminton with my friends, I go to gym in my university about 4 or 5 times a week if there is no exams, lol.

I try to find sometime for reading everyday. I love music and movies as well.

I do not ask for a beautiful or a luxury place, it is great only if there is clean. I can make some Chinese food, but maybe not good : ). If you want, we may make a dinner or brunch, lol. We can talk about lifestyle, culture, movies and so many things together.

For people who need a host, I am not sure if I can host you in a specific time, you can send me a message to tell me when you would get here and I will check.
