CURRENT MISSION
The Summer of '09 - Hiking Oregon, USA
ABOUT ME
Brett and I have been married for over 10 years and moved to our current location about 2 years ago. We spend most of our time together doing the things we love, see "Interests" below.
Overall we are pretty laid back, and have a strong desire to learn about other people and cultures.
We also feel we have a ridiculous amount of unused space in the apartment to share, and that is part of what brought us to CS.
PHILOSOPHY
Still working on this...
Everyone is welcome to share a meal in our home. P E A C E

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
In the last couple of years, Brett and I have been couch surfing [unofficially] to see concerts with friends and family, but were not a member of any community web site. Recently, we have met a lot of people, heard a ton of new music, tried a lot of new foods and had a lot of fun. All of our unofficial couch surfing experiences have been very positive and that is a major reason why signed up for Couchsurfing.com.

Musica, film e libri
*MUSIC - At present we have been exploring the local Reggae music festival scene here in the Pacific Northwest, some of our favorites bands have been: The T Club, OUTPost, Afro-Omega, Ire Impressions, Indubious, Eastern Sunz and Organik Time Machine. We love all kinds of music, but prefer to hear it live at smaller venues and festivals like, Cougar Mountain's Reggae on the Mountain - Tayberry Festival, 420 Production's Summer Circus and The People Powered Festival. We have a very eclectic taste in music, and really enjoy just about any kind of music.
*BOOKS - Lisa just read "How the Irish Saved Civilization" and Brett is currently listening "Freakanomics" and "A Short History of Everything".
*MOVIES - We don't watch many movies, however in the past we've enjoyed sci-fi movies, action/hero movies, historical movies, movies with super effects, foreign films and animation.
Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto
We found each other!
Lisa dug out some of our wedding stuff from 1998-
Just over 10 years ago, we crammed ourselves and a few friends and family into The Ashland Towne Hall and had a little paper signing party. Brett's other promise to me was to celebrate 10 years in a big way and we celebrated our anniversary in Japan!!! Thanks everyone who came along for our ten year celebration and made a remarkable memory.

Lisa would love to share a sewing lesson -
Cooking/baking lesson -
Or take a photographic tour of Tualitin Hills Park -
Brett is super computer savvy and a geek, ask him anything. He knows a little about the local music scene as well.
