Overview
About Me
I have pursued several projects throughout my life. I am currently an organic vegetable farmer who is learning coding to design apps for small-scale farming. I have my permaculture design certificate and am passionate about permaculture, regenerative agriculture, and creating local economies. In 2013 I graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering, and quickly moved on to other subjects.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am here because I believe traveling is done best when connections can be made with people. And what a better way than on CS?
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Summer 2012 - backpacked around Europe and stayed with several awesome hosts. I haven't done much Couch surfing since then.
Interests
I am an advocate of small scale, local economic systems, and my experience is in farming. I am figuring out how to promote small to medium scale, regionally appropriate food systems. Part of that is helping farmers become more efficient and profitable, which is where the app design comes in. Part of that is educating people about the necessity of local systems.
