About Me
Hello! I’m a e graduate student in Atlanta, Georgia and a returned Peace Corps Volunteer. I served 2 years in the central region of Uganda, where I worked at a hospital doing health education. I enjoy traveling for authentic and cultural experiences, and have so many places I'd like to see!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'd love to connect with like-minded people, meet new friends, experience new cultures from more than just the view of a tourist, share our favorite meals, and of course reduce on travel costs.

Music, Movies, and Books
I will give anything recommended a try! I love fiction and non fiction books based on other cultures and travel.
I love alternative, indie, bluegrass and folk music, but will listen to (almost) anything! My current favorites are Caamp, Shakey Graves, Bon Iver, Gregory Alan Isakov, and The Lumineers. I also love love love live music, whether its an acoustic guitar played by a friend, a night of live music at a bar, or a concert. There's just something so magical about hearing live music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been on safari in Uganda and saw elephants, lions, and hippos in their natural habitats! Seeing them without fences surrounding them was incredible!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love cooking and baking so if you end up hosting me I can make you a delicious meal. I love sharing music with others and adding to my own music library. And of course, we can always share good conversation and stories! I've collected some good ones from my time in Uganda!
