About Me

I grew up in downtown San Francisco surrounded by people from of all cultures. After high school, I began traveling and living in many different countries for collage and after. It soon become a passionate life style and I have now come to the realization that life is a never ending journey inward and out.

My outlet is music and my intention is to provide healing through the vehicle of sound and frequency. I explore the global soundscape by documenting, collecting and recording music from all of the the world and have been producing dance trance and sound bath meditation events nomadically for the last 5 years. I also
manage a intercultural music blog and have an active soundcloud page where I share sets, mixes and playlists.

My mission is to break borders and build bridges by transforming outdated paradigms into embracing the fusion of a world culture based on tradition and technology, science and spirituality and the acoustic with the electronic.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a nomad, I am in and out of SF frequently but when I'm back in the city, I still stay at the place I was born and raised right in the heart of downtown. I live in a small studio but have a couch and a closet loft for a few folks to crash. There is a small garden attached to my apartment which is an oasis in the city and great for chilling out within the chaos of the urban streets. I love to share space with other travelers and am grateful to be able to offer shelter to friendly folks looking to travel cheap, alternatively and an are interested in a more authentic experience through lens of an worldly SF native.

Interests

Aside from music, I am inspired by herbalism, regenerative action, intercultural collaboration, holistic healing practices, ceremonial cacao, and the incorporation of nature consciousness in daily life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2012 I experienced the largest spiritual gathering in the world in northern India called Kumbha Mela. 50 million Hindu devotees and pligrims come from far and wide to gather at the the sacred interaction of three rives, the Ganga, Seresvati and the Yamuna for one lunar month. In the Hindu texts, the sacred site is one of 4 locations, each holding the festival every 4 years. In 2012, the location in Allahabad was the first original site and the most prevalent to the festival's tradition. Being that is was the 144the time it had occurred there, the significance of 2012's gathering marked a full cycle in the cosmological timeline and was therefore a far more potent experience that other years and would not again in our lifetime. I had the privilege to stay on the sacred grounds for 3 days, studying, observing and embracing the magnitude of a great spiritual convergence. The memory and feeling of being there will never leave me and to this day stands out in all my global travels as an experience beyond measure.
