Overview
About Me
1 - the number of pets I've had. Ellie is our family dog. She is a Boston terrier/Cocker spaniel mix. She is 6 now and remains the greatest thing that has ever happened to our family.
2 - number of siblings I have. A younger brother and younger sister. I am the oldest. That should tell you something (i.e. I'm responsible)
3 - number of cities I've lived in.
Prince George, BC: Born and raised. Spent 18 years in the same house.
St. Pascal, Kamouraska, QC: In grade 10, I went on a 3 month exchange to Quebec and lived on a dairy farm. It was a total culture shock for my 15-year-old self.
Victoria, BC: Went to University on this island beauty.
4 - number of years at post-secondary.
As I said, the University was my school of choice. I graduated with a BFA in theatre with a specialization in acting. I like to play pretend and plan on doing so for the rest of my life. I applied to 5 other schools for Bio-Chemistry, which I also got into, but took my chances with theatre and so far it has proven worthwhile!
5 - 22: Things you will learn when you host me.
23 - my age. I don't particularly think it means anything, but it is something people like to know. I tend to get mistaken as a few years older than I am.
I hail from Prince George, BC, Canada; otherwise known as the "Northern Capital" of British Columbia. It is a trades city, the main industry being forestry.
My mother is a psychiatrist. She is the most emotionally and mentally stable person I have ever met. I am very lucky to grow up with a mother like that.
My father is a forester. He maps out, surveys, and manages woodlots. I often help him with the bush work.
My goals are to make theatre that entertains and makes people ask questions and search for answers.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Well, I suppose there's the obvious: save some cash.
I want to get to know people. I love getting to know people, even if I don't agree with everything they say, I like to learn how people tick. Everyone is a character waiting to be known. That being said, I don't grill people with questions. I'm just casually curious.
Couchsurfing is also the best way to get to know the place your visiting. Locals know what not to miss and what to save for the next trip.
Couchsurfing also allows we surfers to leave a good impression.
