ABOUT ME

I am born in Brooklyn, NY, but grew up in Northern Sweden. I have done a lot of stuff. Military service, Massage Therapy (funny yin-yang there - I KNOW). I want to write screenplays, create this awesome massage therapy instructional project (free video feed online), live life travelling between the US, Sweden, and Thailand, as I romanticize meeting people there on vacation you always get them at their best. I also love to coach youth soccer. Also, I'm going to run for office in Sweden later, so if you host me, you can one day show people youtube videos of me in the 'Riksdag' talking about sound money and the US constitution.

PHILOSOPHY

Never save energy for the swim back to shore. Don't have a plan B, it only distracts from plan A.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can totally host with very little effort, even though Charlotte ain't the best place to visit. I heard about this website a year ago, and signed up as actually a way to afford to travel the country and teach my workshops. I don't think I can go wrong.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed a lot when I was younger. And hosted a lot. The differece between the couchsurfer versus the non couchsurfer is not unlike the difference between the free minds and the people plugged into "the matrix".

I love movies. Great entertainment, and the art of our times. Were it not for my current project, I would have been working on a movie script. I also enjoy computer games, and I am excited about that medium's evolution. Youtube "heavy rain" . Grew up in Europe, so I can say stuff like that :) Donnie Darko, Gattaca and ... MY own script is a mix of "Fight Club" and "Pay it forward".

The Christmas after 9/11, I was driving home across the country, and picked up a hitchhiker. To keep this really short, he was down on his luck and over a thousand miles away from anyone who could help him. I drove him 3 hours with me, and took him to the greyhound station, and gave him $100 to get home. He gave me a REALLY good hug. Also, I have been hiked in the rainforest in Belize, Served with NATO in Kosovo, and frozen my butt off in Murmansk.

First off, I actually teach massage therapy workshops for a LIVING. so I can do that REALLY well, and I love to do it too. As I travel, I can proably teach you and some of your friends few tricks.

Also, I am a newly converted Libertarian - I used to be a Democrat, as I grew up in Sweden. No matter what your persuasion, we can have some good conversations.
