Surfed in French Guiana, Tanzania, Borneo, Iran and Taiwan (where two hosts became some of my best friends)
hosted an Argentinean couple in Singapore.
Surfing and meetups are my first step everywhere I go

It's not something I've done personally but the No. 1 Most Amazing Travel Prize goes without a hint of doubt to the AC Milan Fan Club of Sintang Borneo Indonesia. Who knew that after endless bumpy horrible bus rides and treading through the jungle of Borneo, there would be a small town with...the most fearsome fan club of Milan!? And they know all the chants in Italian!!

Other than that I've done a bunch of stuff that should really be called reckless rather than amazing, like going for a walk in occupied Cisjordania during a crisis and then meeting the nicest people ever... the greatest encounters are also the most unexpected
