About Me
Hey hey!
I'm Foster. My first name is Lewis, but I go by Foster. Green is my favorite color. I'm extroverted by nature which might explain why I enjoy a well crafted cup of coffee/espresso...or two. It also explains why I like to meet people and joke around whenever I can. I look on the bright side of things most of the time, and try to be as open minded as I can.
I like to be active and outside, so I enjoy playing soccer, climbing lots and lots of climbing, slacklining, biking and drawing in cool places. I also love my hammock. I especially like doing these activities in places I’ve never been before. When I’m traveling I like to fill my time with activities like these instead of typical touristy things (even though I enjoy my fair share of touristy stuff).
When I’m not Travelling I’m either working or in school, so I might not be able to spend as much quality time with my surfers as I'd like. But I'll spend the time I will have with my surfers to the fullest. It will be hard to catch me on the weekends since I go on fun excursions every chance I get, and weekends are the best for that.
I work a 9-5 as a designer now so if you come during the week, i have limited time to hang. I hope you don’t mind doing your thing! I like to go to sleep at a reasonable hour and wake up early. So if you sleep late, please keep that in mind. My girlfriend and I do like to cook, so if you like food, you’ll probably receive some from us, but no promises.
Basically I’m a go with the flow kind of person and try to be as flexible as I can be.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The couchsurfing experience is a fun way to create unforgettable connections with people wherever I am. I find couchsurfing to be an interesting way to meet people, and I have formed strong relationships with the people I have couchsurfed with, and I will always hold that close to my heart.
I had one surfer stay with me, and now he is a life long friend!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I participated in a three-man multi-pitch climb up El Toro on a 23 pitch(2300ft, 700m) sport route in named Time Wave Zero in Mexico. We were on the rock for 30hours haha. You can watch the video of the trip here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B0K-MbLf1aM
In that same area I fell 150ft and landed without breaking a bone. Lucky to be alive! I wrote an article about in Rock and Ice Magazine as well at the American Alpine Club Accidents Report!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you about coffee, climbing, and signage design.
I’m a curious person and always want my mind blown, so please blow my mind with knowledge! I want the real truth of the universe.
I love sharing. It’s caring. You know, sharing is caring, right!?
