Hello!

I'm Sergi from Peru. I study Archaeology, which is a career that gathers most of my interests: history, geography, nature and travelling. My studies are about ancient Peru so I frequently visit a lot of archaeological places from this part of the world. One of my passions is learning new languages and I'm currently studying Japanese language at Yamagata University, Japan.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I think is a great way to meet new people from different cultural backgrounds and exchange ideas.

Interests

I love travelling, learning languages, History, being in touch with nature (although I also enjoy the urban life), tasting new dishes, cinema, music and any sort of artistic expression. I must confess I do not like sports (I only like swimming).

Favorite musicians: The Beatles (all-time favorite), Queen, Shakira and others (my musical taste changes through time and places)

Best books I've read (so far): Crime and punishment (Dostoevsky), Cien años de soledad (García Márquez), The metamorphosis (Kafka), La guerra del fin del mundo (Vargas Llosa), 1Q84 (Murakami).

Directors I follow: Xavier Dolan, Quentin Tarantino, Tim Burton, Woody Allen, Stanley Kubrick. And I love animated films.
