I am studying Law and Languages in Grenoble, two subjects I am absolutely in love with! But I am interested in basically everything from Politics to Mathematics to even Psychology, so you can very easily fit into one of my interests!

I love having conversations with people from all backgrounds and cultures, and I love learning from people, and learning in general (whatever the subject)! I also love having a laugh! I love reading (my suggestions are in favorites' section!!) and watching films.

I like participating in a lot of activities even though I always end up doing a lot less than what I was expecting to do. People say I am perfectionist B), that's probably why!

What else can I say about myself... I use a lot of exclamation marks and you've probably noticed that by now! And I don't know why! But I just do... Haha.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I discovered this brilliant website last year (2014) and I think it is an absolutely good idea not only because it's of course less costly but also because it helps serve the sole purpose of traveling in my opinion, that is, learning about the culture and the people in different countries by living with them, chatting with them and becoming friends with them. It helps broaden one's mind and perspective!! So why not?!

Interests

I love people! Really! Meeting new people or getting to actually know people you think you already know (but not really) is a very interesting & stimulating activity you can do on a daily basis and you can learn SOOO many things about the world that would require yeaaars and years for you to learn otherwise!

I love reading so much! All recommendations in the Favorites section!!! I have started reading novels this summer (2016) but I mainly read boring books about politics or philosophy :)

I draw and paint occasionally! I'll upload some drawings and paintings in the Photos section for you to see!

I like listening to all sorts of music! Just good music.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite Music: Mostly Dance, RnB & Pop Music but I don't like limiting my options! There is a lot of good music in all kinds of categories whether it be Rap or Classic!

Favorite Singers : Jaymes Young (GO listen to him NOWW!! You're missing so much if you've not already listened to his music) and Macklemore of course.

Favorite Books: Me Talk Pretty One Day by David Sedaris, What Money Can't Buy by Michael Sandel, L'Assommoir by Émile Zola

Favorite Movies: This one is difficult! There are so many movies I truly appreciate!
Bizarrely, I like Gravity a lot! I also really like Love, Rosie. I lately watched Bridge of Spies that I found absolutely brilliant! Suffragettes was also very good! I recommend all these! Danish Girl, too? It's cinematographically poor but the story is very appealing. There are a lot of other films I probably just forgot about because I have a pathetically bad useless memory (and yeah, I am a Law student with an extremely bad memory...).

Favorite TV Shows: How to get Away with Murder (just terrific!), Game of Thrones (likewise...)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my loud laugh (people generally like it! Good thing I like it too). I can share my stories! It is very interesting to learn from people that are just like you but that have lived a very different life on another place on earth, with different families, friends, acquaintances, summer adventures, who have watched different films, read different books, listened to different music, ate different food, learned differently, thought differently, joked differently and loved differently! And they're still like you! Have you been born in their place, you'd have become what they have become!! I really like thinking about it that way!

I can share my recipes!! You didn't think about that did you! Well I love eating and I take recipes from all the people I meet or the restaurants I go to! So prepare yourself for a world you've never visited of very good, quality food -- sometimes healthy and sometimes not at all! You'd be surprised at how much you're missing out on this world!

I am sure I can share a lot of other good things to! I just can't think of everything at the moment! But we'll have time to remember that when we meet!
