About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To discover myself through travel

ABOUT ME

I'm a 25 year old Uni drop out vegetarian gamer. I work in clothing retail that's pretty dead end and would like to find new work opportunities. I'm also an amateur actor though it's been a while since I performed anything; I still like to 'act' like I'm an actor ;)

I'm a very relaxed, laid back sort of person who doesn't expect much from people which makes me easy to get along with. I'm quite happy to do my own thing or be shown around to the local hot spots.

I've travelled around Europe and India with mates before but this is my first time travelling alone. Keen for any wisdom you have to share and I can tell you all about Australia such as how to avoid the dangers of drop bears ;).

PHILOSOPHY

I'm an atheist but not an annoying preachy one. If you believe in a religion that's all good we all got to believe in something right?

I believe everyone should have freedom from bigotry and hate. If everyone could tolerate and share each others cultures the world would be a better place.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Me and my partner hosted couch surfers in 2011. Then I couch surfed in Europe in 2012. Every CS host was awesome! It was a way better experience travelling compared to staying in hotels and hostels. My next traveling experience was India and Nepal in 2014. However I didn't use couch surfing there. And now I'm surfing up the USA's West coast :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One of my best CS experiences was thanks to our CS host in Scotland called Callum. He told us about a local kayleigh (Scottish dance) happening around the corner and we had SO MUCH FUN!!. I also love doing simple things with CS hosts whether it's having a casual drink at the local pub or going to a fun party where I show off some fancy foot work! Lol (I'm actually quite lame) ;).

Interests

I'm a bit of a nerd and I like watching sci-fi and love to play video games. I was a bit of a poker fanatic but not any more, I still like to play every so often though. The only sport I've played is golf and I don't follow sports... Except Esports, do Esports count?

I used to act but haven't in a long while. I still love watching performances whether it be a light comedy or an intense drama, not much of a horror fan though.

I'm also very interested in traveling and meeting new people because people are awesome!

Music, Movies, and Books

movies: I generally like most movies and I love discussing movies with people and sharing opinions of what they thought.

Music: I like listening to music but don't know much about it.

Books: unfortunately I don't read much but would definitely like to read more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

From horse riding in India to rafting in Cesky Krumlov.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share some wisdom and stories. I'm also a good listener; hearing the interesting lives my hosts have lived fascinates me :).

What I Can Share with Hosts

Super chill vibes, pleasant conversations, sharing life insights and experiences.
