About Me
CURRENT MISSION
preparing for a trip to India
ABOUT ME
Grad student at Penn.
My goal is to be as flexible as possible when traveling, leaving preferences I had at home, at home. If I've never tried it, I'll try it! I can be a highly autonomous traveler; I take good care to be aware of keeping my space small as a guest. Otherwise, I´m up for whatever you are! Local, underground, or intellectual stuff appreciated but no problem otherwise.
I can usually get along with anyone! :)
PHILOSOPHY
I'm out to have a good time, learn as much as I possibly can, and make some solid connections with people around the world. While I'm traveling, I'm a big proponent of total immersion, doing everything as is done wherever I am (except eating meat but I'm quiet about it). I try to travel invisibly and I am conscious to patronize and embellish locality.
I'm grounded mostly in social science and theory, but I have strong sympathies with philosophy. Politically, I'm a socialist in the American tradition. Forests are my sanctuaries. With all this said, though, I'm extremely accepting of most constellations of credos.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Happy to host now that I have the means to do so. I'm typically quite busy, but the futon is comfortable.
For the time being, I can only host for one night at a time.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been CSing for a while and I love it! I've done so many unique things and met some of the most genuine and interesting people in my life because of CS. I've done b&e into tunnel networks, been to underground raves, got lost in a lot of forests, drank everything from salmiakki to grog... CS is a second home and a first adventure.
